Volunteer with CAL

‘Climate Action Lewisham’ is a volunteer run organisation and we’re always keen to hear from individuals interested in taking a more active role.

We’ve a few roles that we’d love some help with listed below, so please get in touch if you think might be able to help. We’ll be adding more roles as they come up or in the meantime, please do Please do give us a shout at info{AT}climateactionlewisham.org and let us know if there is anything that you might be able to help us with.

We get up to all sorts of things, from talking to the public about climate issues at local events or through social media, involvement with the local council regarding plans for carbon reduction, responding to consultations, organising petitions, planting trees and joining the dots with other groups and initiatives. We also run a cargo cycle lending library with Lewisham Cyclists that enables local families to try out cargo cycles as a greener healthier mode of transport.

So whether you’re creative, technical, organised, politically astute, knowledgeable about a certain issue or sector related to climate change and environment or just passionate about climate issues we’d love to hear from you. Even if you don’t have that much experience for a particular role, we’re a friendly bunch so feel free to volunteer if you’d just like to gain experience by doing the role or enhancing your CV with a new skill.
